    Awful

    The firm is completely incompetent, mistake after mistake after mistake. Sold me a dangerous vehicle. They lied to me on multiple occasions. I've not had a single apology from anyone at the firm. Zero care for the safety and satisfaction of customers. They then attempted to fix the vehicle and expected me to keep it. The director asked me to insure the car to be redelivered when it should have been driven on their trade plates under their insurance as my insurance obviously wouldn’t cover them. Agreed to pay me £100 compensation on top of the vehicle value for this but never did. Surprised they are still trading.

    Hi William Sorry to hear your comments as we aim to please all our customers. The vehicle was not dangerous and we rectified the faults pointed out to us, we even collected the vehicle from you and brought it back when done. As the vehicle is over 12 years old with 100,000 miles it obviously did not meet your expectations so we gave you a full refund even after 2 months, this we feel is more than fair.

    Picked up a little used Suzuki Swift yesterday from James Shepherd Ltd and they've been great! They were very clear about how the process worked, how long the MOT would take, and updated me without prompting. I was genuinely impressed with the 12 month MOT being included and that they left no advisories.

    Really pleased with my purchase. No high pressure sales chat and I do seem to have got a good vehicle at a sensible price. All the paperwork was sorted easily and quickly. There was a minor issue which was sorted quickly and without fuss.

    Bought a Suzuki Vitara from James Shepherd and the car has been great. Service from Shepherds couldn't be faulted really. Communication was good start to finish & we weren't pestered into a deal. Overall, very happy & we would have no problems recommending. Off to France in the car very soon so fingers crossed!
